The South Australian Murray Darling Basin Natural Resources Management Board (NRM Board) has sought expressions of interest from people willing to join it in an exciting new step in natural resources management in South Australia.
Four NRM Groups have been established to help the Board understand and respond to community needs and will cover the following areas: (Click on groups to find out more information)
Groups will advise the Board and work with its local communities and stakeholders to implement the Board's Natural Resources Management Plan and promote public awareness for integrated natural resources management within the Board's Region.
Those members appointed on the basis of their knowledge in one or more natural resource management areas such as primary production, soil conservation, local government, animal and plant control, salinity, indigenous culture, biodiversity or the management of water resources, include:
