Overview
In October 2005, the wells in the Hundreds of Peake, Roby and Sherlock were prescribed. The intent on prescribing this area is to investigate current and future demand for water and the implications of these requirements will have on the underground water resource. To assist in current and future sustainable development a Water Allocation Plan (WAP) is being developed. The WAP will include rules and policies on the allocating of water for licensed purposes (e.g. irrigation, intensive farming, Industrial use and town water supply)
