Starting a new Volunteer Group

The SA MDB NRM Board can provide advice, insurance and some financial support to new groups who wish to undertake NRM activities within the SA MDB region.

To register a new group, please download the Registration Form for Volunteer Groups (48kb) along with the Requirements of Volunteer Insurance Information Sheet (44kb).

LAP Groups

The SA MDB NRM Board resources LAP groups to support NRM volunteers and groups in their local areas. For more information on LAPs, visit the LAP page.

NRM Volunteer Small Grants

The NRM Volunteer Small Grants is a funding program aimed at supporting the efforts of volunteers in the SA Murray-Darling Basin who are working to protect and restore the natural resources of our region. 57 projects were funded across the region in 2011 for a range of local projects. The next round of NRM volunteer small grants is now open. Applications need to be submitted by 31 March 2012. For more information and an application form please follow the link below.

Community Grants

The SA MDB NRM Board assesses Community Grant applications twice a year on 30th March 2010 and 30th September 2010. For more information and application forms follow the link.
